The Eau Claire community is rallying together in response to a recent Trump Administration proposal to deport immigrants.
Last month the administration proposed the deportation of Hmong and Lao people who are not U-S citizens and have committed crimes or have deportation orders.
A rally was held before an Eau Claire city council meeting last night and the council passed a resolution condemning the administration’s proposal. Citizens say the rally was meant as a sign of solidarity with the council’s resolution.
