Governor Tony Evers is declaring Maple Syrup Month in Wisconsin.
The governor today said he and the state’s first lady were at InTheWoods Sugar Bush in Manitowoc County this weekend for the first maple tree tapping of the season. He has declared March 15th through April 15th as maple syrup month to honor the state’s maple syrup producers.
Wisconsin ranks third among states in the production of maple syrup.
