The Wisconsin National Guard’s new sexual assault and harassment policy will be in place by the end of the summer.
Governor Tony Evers yesterday signed an executive order to put the plan into place. The new guidelines for the guard come after a report found that former guard commanders swept accusations of improper behavior under the rug.
The governor yesterday said the new policy will help implement the top-to-bottom changes that the Guard needs.
