WI COUNTY SEES OVERDOSE SPIKE

There are some statistics raising concern for Sauk County Health Department officials.

The department said today it’s seeing a spike in opioid overdoses since early last month.  The overdoses could be caused by prescription painkillers, but there is an increasing problem of heroin cut with fentanyl which is causing deaths across the country.  Health officials urge people to get trained to recognize suspected overdoses and learn what to do in that situation.
