The period of time between getting a divorce and remarrying in Wisconsin could be eliminated.
Reports say the Committee on Family and Law approved a bill that would eliminate the waiting period by a six-to-three vote Tuesday night. Currently Wisconsin residents must wait six months after getting a divorce to remarry.
