An Eau Claire man will spend time in federal prison after being convicted of illegally having a gun.
Eau Claire police say they arrested Lamont Davis last July when he was found with a gun during a reported family violence incident. Davis was convicted of being a felon in possession of a firearm and sentenced Tuesday to 30 months in federal prison.
