There is once again a proposal at the capitol in Madison to make English Wisconsin’s official language.
State Senators Andre Jacque, Dave Craig, and Steve Nass are all pushing a proposal that would declare English the state’s language and require all official documents to be written in English.
This is not the first time Jacque has proposed the idea. He tried to pass a similar law in 2013, but the plan never went anywhere at the statehouse.
