Questions about parking seem to be the only ones asked about a plan to add a new student apartment building in downtown Eau Claire.
A developer wants to replace the old Guppy’s Pizza with a new building that would have shops on the first floor and apartments on the second. Planners say the space has just a few parking spots right now, but that may not be an issue if the city lets the people who’d live in the apartments park on the street.
