Governor Tony Evers celebrated workers, saying Labor Day is a time to honor and celebrate the grit and dedication of workers and working families.
In a tweet, the governor encouraged Wisconsinites to reflect on the contributions workers have made to the state and country. He calls for a renewed commitment to fighting for equal pay, livable wages, and safe and inclusive workplaces. Evers says there is much more work to do to ensure the economy works for everyone.
