The man accused of killing Racine Police Officer John Hetland is headed for trial.
Dalquavis Ward waived his preliminary hearing yesterday. Ward is accused of killing Hetland during an armed robbery at the bar where Hetland was eating last month. Ward is facing life in prison on homicide charges.
