ONE STEP CLOSER FOR DYSLEXIA HANDBOOKS

A plan that’d have the state create a dyslexia handbook for schools is a step closer to becoming law. 

The state Assembly yesterday approved a proposal to have the state’s Department of Public Instruction create a handbook for schools to help diagnose dyslexia and other reading problems in students.  Many schools already work with kids who have reading problems.  This new plan would require that all schools have a strategy.
