UPDATE:
It is now a recovery effort in Adams County. The sheriff yesterday said they are looking for the body of a missing child who slipped below the water on the Wisconsin River near the Dells on Tuesday. Sheriff Brent York says teams searched for the child for two days. Crews will be back out on the river today, they’re bringing new sonar equipment to help in their search.

The child slipped below the water near the Wisconsin Dells yesterday evening. Crews in Adams County searched, but had to come back off the water when it got dark. The sheriff says he’ll send a team back out on the river today. He’s not saying how old the child is.
