A slow story for drivers, as the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources says this is the season for turtles in the state to lay eggs.
That means an increase in the number of turtles crossing roads and streets. DNR says it’s okay to move the turtle across the road, just make sure you place it on the side of the road that the turtle is heading.
And, just as a bonus-a little joke to take into the office with you today:
What do you get when you cross a turtle and a porcupine? A: a slow-poke.
