President Trump is firing up his base in Wisconsin instead of attending the White House Correspondents’ Association dinner. Last night, Trump spoke in Green Bay on the same night as the annual dinner which he consistently avoids each year.
Trump touched briefly on the 2020 Democratic presidential hopefuls, stressing he could easily beat former Vice President Joe Biden. He also gave his condolences to the victims of the synagogue shooting near San Diego earlier yesterday which left one woman dead and three others injured. He told the crowd that the entire nation mourns the loss of life and stressed that anti-semitism must be defeated.
Trump also touted his administration’s success and said his campaign will continue to take on the political establishment.
