A Jackson County home is heavily damaged after a fire.
The Black River Falls Fire Department responded to the fire in the Town of Komesky around 11:30 last night and firefighters saw heavy smoke coming from the roof when they arrived. The homeowner was not there and no injuries were reported. The home has heavy smoke and water damage and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
