CHASE LEADS TO PROBATION

A Black River Falls man will serve two years on probation after a high speed chase through Chippewa and Eau Claire Counties.

Yesterday, Corey Sprinkle pleaded no contest to fleeing an officer and possession of narcotics and had two other charges dropped.  Sprinkle was arrested after running from police in Lake Hallie and leading them into Eau Claire County.  He reportedly admitted to using meth after he was arrested.
