The first major snow storm of the season is hitting Wisconsin hard. As of Saturday at mid-morning, it dumped anywhere from five to eight inches of snow on the Madison area.
Weather experts say that’s nearly doubled Madison’s snow total for the season. Even though snow fall has ended, chilly temperatures remain. Today is expected to be mostly sunny and cold with a high of about 11 degrees. Winds are predicted to be around 10 miles-per-hour with a wind chill of 10 below to zero.
