The Veterans Park is closer to becoming a reality in our area. We are only two meetings away-Firststop will be when it goes to the Eau Claire City Council for final approval this week and then a couple meetings next month and after that the project can move forward with bidding, with construction scheduled to begin this summer.
The Eau Claire Veterans Foundation has raised over $900,000 of the proposed $2.2 million project cost.
