WI SENATORS TAKE STAND ON KAVANAUGH

Wisconsin’s senators are reacting to the latest developments in the nomination process for Supreme Court pick Brett Kavanaugh.  The Senate Judiciary Committee approved advancing Kavanaugh’s nomination to the full Senate, but the vote is to be delayed by an FBI investigation into allegations of sexual misconduct against the judge.

Democratic Senator Tammy Baldwin says she supports the bipartisan call for the White House to reopen the background check and said there should be no vote until the Senate has all the facts about serious and credible allegations that have been made.  Republican Senator Ron Johnson told that he is ready to vote for Kavanaugh now and predicted the judge will be confirmed following the FBI investigation.
