Flooding is continuing to close roads and interrupt life in our state. The Baraboo River was at major flood stage at Rock Springs and Baraboo in Sauk County. Highway lanes on sections of I-90/94 and I-39 in Dane and Columbia counties were closed this weekend. Damage from repeated rains and flooding in Dane County is estimated at more than 154-million dollars.
Road closures from flooding are continuing to impact southern Wisconsin. National Guard members completed sandbagging on Interstate 90 and 94 and I-39 in Columbia County on Friday. Flooding is also impacting seven state highways in Crawford, Marquette, Sauk and Vernon counties.
