A motorcycle accident on Saturday afternoon leaves one man dead. It happened just before 1:30. The Dunn County 911 Center received a report of two motorcycles involved in a crash on State Rd 64 at Cty Rd Q in New Haven.
Early investigation shows that a group of motorcycles were eastbound on State Rd 64 and the group was intending to proceed south on Cty Rd Q when 50 year old David Nelson from Brooklyn Center Minnesota was operating his motorcycle and struck the rear of the motorcycle in front of him which was operated by 53 year old Carol Anne Kukacka, also from Brooklyn Center. Both were ejected from their motorcycles. Nelson was pronounced dead at the scene Kukacka was taken to a hospital. Alcohol does not appear to be a factor in this crash.
