Wisconsin voters with disabilities will be allowed to have help sending in their ballots. Today a federal judge ruled the Wisconsin Elections Commission must establish the Voting Rights Act, which will require the state to give help to voters with disabilities. Anyone can help a person with disabilities vote, as long as they’re not their employer or a part of the voters’ union.

The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported yesterday that Barnes has racked-up over 600 thousand-dollars in security costs during his first three years in office. That is ten times more than the state’s last Lieutenant Governor. Barnes is Lt. Governor, but he is also running for US Senate. Republicans yesterday said the whopping number shows how quick Barnes is to spend other people’s money.

On August 30, 2022, the Menomonie Police Department with the assistance of the Eau Claire Regional SWAT Team attempted to serve a search warrant at the residence of Michael Polzin, 18025 th St. W. #6. Polzin also had an active arrest warrant. Following a lengthy standoff, Polzin was apprehended without further incident. There is no threat to the community.
