Kohl’s is blaming inflation for a cut in its financial forecast. The Wisconsin-based retail chain now projects net sales to decline by up to six-percent. It also slashed earnings per share expectations by more than half. Kohl’s says shoppers aren’t going to stores as much and if they do, they’re spending less money each time they go.
