The federal government is offering help to Wisconsin farmers being affected by some of the worst drought conditions the state has ever seen. The U.S. Department of Agriculture says both financial and technical assistance are available. Some of the programs include the Livestock Forage Disaster Program and Emergency Assistance for Livestock, Honeybees, and Farm-Raised Fish Program. Gary Huber this week pleaded guilty to four felony charges, in exchange prosecutors are dropping six other charges. Huber admitted exposing himself to a child under 13, as well as having a child view a sex act. He was accused of abusing kids between the ages of 8 and 12, starting as far back as 2010. The state of Wisconsin this year approved 12-and-a-half million dollars to renovate the building. The idea is to modernize and expand the pavilion. The Cream Puff Pavilion is one of the oldest buildings on the fairgrounds and one of the busiest. The Wisconsin Baker’s Association, which makes cream puffs in the building, says it sells over a million dollars worth of cream puffs each year.
