The winter outlook from the National Energy Assistance Directors Association estimates electric heat will cost one-point-two percent more than last winter, while propane is expected to be four-point-two percent higher, and heating oil will be up eight-point-seven percent. But there’s good news for people who heat with natural gas, which is forecast to cost seven-point-eight percent less than last winter.
