A child is dead after a pickup truck crashed into the back of an Amish buggy. The Lafayette County Sheriff’s Office says two parents and four children were riding in the Amish buggy when a pickup truck ran into it from behind. They say several family members were thrown from the buggy and got serious injuries. One child died at the scene. The driver of the truck was not hurt.
