Hunting Seasons In Crosshairs

There is a reminder that hunting season in Wisconsin is about to ramp-up. The state’s Department of Natural Resources says four different hunting seasons begin next month, including beaver, mink and muskrat, otter, and firearms deer season. Packers Drop the Ball

It was another disappointing first half, and another loss for the Packers. Green Bay scored just three points in the first half yesterday on the way to a 27-10 loss to the Minnesota Vikings. The loss is Green Bay’s fourth in a row, and drops them to 2-5. Jordan Love threw for 229 yards with one touchdown, and one interception. The Packers play the LA Rams next week at Lambeau.

Planned Parenthood of Wisconsin is making HIV treatments more accessible. The treatments are made for pre- and post-exposure treatment of the virus. PrEP is taken daily to prevent HIV infection while PEP is taken within 72 hours of recent exposure. Both medications can be prescribed in person or over telemedicine. Traffic Stop Leads to OWI

Sarina Urrice Whittmon, 31 years of age, from Lebanon TN has been arrested by the Wisconsin State Patrol Eau Claire Post for operating a motor vehicle under the influence, 1st offense, with twochildren in the vehicle under the age of 16. On 10/28/23 at approximately 12:26AM, a Wisconsin State Patrol Trooper conducted a traffic stop on Interstate 94 eastbound at MM55 for an equipment violation. Pilot Identified in Deadly Crash

Authorities have identified the Texas pilot who was killed in a crash in eastern Wisconsin this week. The Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Office said on Friday that 57-year-old Steven Walker, from the Dallas-Fort Worth area, was the only person on the single-engine plane that went down in Kossuth Township on Thursday. The Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Office, the FAA, and the National Transportation Safety Board are investigating to learn what caused the crash.
