It was another disappointing first half, and another loss for the Packers. Green Bay scored just three points in the first half yesterday on the way to a 27-10 loss to the Minnesota Vikings. The loss is Green Bay’s fourth in a row, and drops them to 2-5. Jordan Love threw for 229 yards with one touchdown, and one interception. The Packers play the LA Rams next week at Lambeau.

Henry Vilas Zoo hosted its annual “Boo at the Zoo” on Saturday. The free, family-friendly event gives kids, and kids-at-heart, an opportunity to show off the Halloween costumes. There were candy stations throughout the park, free carnival rides, and pumpkin enrichment for the animals.

Wisconsin is getting more than a million dollars to help families stay warm this winter. The money is part of the federal Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program. Authorities have identified the Texas pilot who was killed in a crash in eastern Wisconsin this week. The Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Office said on Friday that 57-year-old Steven Walker, from the Dallas-Fort Worth area, was the only person on the single-engine plane that went down in Kossuth Township on Thursday. The Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Office, the FAA, and the National Transportation Safety Board are investigating to learn what caused the crash.
