The Dane County DA’s office yesterday filed formal first-degree homicide charges against 21-year-old Mark Parks Jr. Madison Police say he allegedly shot and killed a man on the city’s east side on July 13th. The university says Navarro-Krupka was pregnant, and that she ‘died unexpectedly during pregnancy.’ Navarro-Krupka grew up in Madison, she graduated from UW-La Crosse in 2006, and was in her fourth year as AD and assistant chancellor at UW-Platteville.
