The end of Thanksgiving Day marked the start of the holiday season in Chippewa Falls. Christmas Village in Irvine Park opened last night. The park’s lights will shine each night until January 1st. This is the 36th year for the Christmas Village, and this year there is a new mailbox for kids to send their letters to Santa. She disappeared from the Wisconsin Dells, and wasn’t seen again until her remains were found in a suitcase near the town of Wheaton in Chippewa County. Dominguez Garcia is waiting to be brought back to Wisconsin to face charges.
