There were a record number of patients seen in 2023 in the UW Health system. During the last fiscal year, UW Health says it saw almost 809-thousand patients and performed more than three-point-seven million outpatient procedures. There were also almost 222-thousand emergency room visits, and 83-point-five thousand surgeries at UW Health. The system says its first successful pediatric heart transplant from August was a notable milestone from 2023.
