Dove Healthcare, a post-acute and long-term care provider with locations in Barron, Bloomer, Chippewa Falls, Eau Claire, Osseo, and Rice Lake, has announced plans to expand its footprint in Wisconsin. Ilan Richland and Isaak Markovits became the new owners of Dove Healthcare on January 1, 2024, after the previous owner of 26 years retired. The co-owners had previously acquired care centers and senior apartments in Fennimore, Lodi, St. Croix Falls, and Superior. Those locations, known as Divine, merged with Dove

Police Seek Public’s Help, Search Continues

Victim Identified in Hudson

Authorities in Hudson say they know who they found near Lake Front Park over the weekend.  The medical examiner’s office yesterday said the body is that of 34-year-old Anders Engstrom from Hudson.  While the medical examiner did not give an official cause of death, police say it appears  Engstrom accidentally drowned.

Fire Danger Drops

Plot Thickens for Fall Creek Library Plan

He’s from Chippewa Falls, but now lives in a converted school bus and travels the country working on his music.
