Chippewa Falls Takes Aim at State Dartball Glory

The 84th Wisconsin State 9-Man Dartball Tournament is scheduled for April 6th and 7th, 2024, at the Northern Wisconsin State Fairgrounds in Chippewa Falls. Anticipating the participation of more than 1,000 players, including 112 men’s teams and 16 women’s teams from across the state, this annual showdown will bring a display of skill and camaraderie.

“We are excited to host the state dartball tournament in Chippewa Falls to showcase our community’s natural beauty, local charm and unique attractions like Irvine Park, Leinenkugel’s, our museums, shops and local businesses..”

This will be the 11th time since 1939 that the state tournament has been held in the Chippewa Valley. The last event was held in 2018 and this will be the first time that the state event will be held in Chippewa Falls. “We are excited to host the state dartball tournament in Chippewa Falls to showcase our community’s natural beauty, local charm and unique attractions like Irvine Park, Leinenkugel’s, our museums, shops and local businesses,” added Sue Leonard, Chippewa County Tourism Director.

The action-packed competition will unfold in the new Custard Coliseum and the L.E. Phillips Buildings at the fairgrounds, located at 225 Edwards Street, Chippewa Falls. Kicking off at 9:30 am on both Saturday and Sunday, attendees can expect a full day of thrilling matches. Additionally, at 11:30 am on Saturday, the event will celebrate the induction of esteemed individuals into the Dartball Hall of Fame, honoring their contributions to the sport.
