The flame-shaped black stone sits in front of the Chetek Police Department. Chief Ron Ambrozaitis says Breidenbach’s death changed Chetek’s police department, and changed the officers forever. State Patrol says there have been more than two-thousand crashes involving farm vehicles in the past five years statewide – in 2023 there were more than three hundred fifty.
