Oakleaf Opens Urgent Care Facilities

Oakleaf Clinics has added two Urgent Care facilities to  help provide additional critical healthcare services for patients in the Chippewa Valley who have  lost two Emergency Rooms since HSHS closed its doors in April. The Chippewa Falls Urgent  Care opens today; The Menomonie Urgent Care opens on Monday, June 17. These are the first  Urgent Care facilities for OakLeaf Clinics, the largest clinic in the OakLeaf Medical Network.  

Urgent Cares are drop-in clinics open during regular business hours as well as extended hours  during the week and on the weekends meant for patients who have urgent, but not life threatening injuries or illnesses. OakLeaf Clinics Urgent Care facilities can treat a wide range of  illnesses including asthma, allergic reactions, colds, flus, pink eye, ear infections, bug bites,  sinus pressure and/or infections, bronchitis, and strep throat. In addition, conditions such as  minor cuts, animal bites, falls, sprains, strains, and broken bones.
