Superintendent Jeff Holmes sent a note home to parents explaining that Chippewa Yellow Bus may be changing owners. He says the change should happen by November, but he said it won’t mean any changes for kids who ride the bus. Homes said all bus routes should remain the same. He also said that Chippewa Falls’ school board is “involved in overseeing this transition.”

The city/county health department said over the weekend that it is ending its beach water testing program for the year. That means no more tests for bacteria and/or blue green algae.
