In another sign that summer’s near, the Eau Claire Health Department will begin testing beach water quality on Monday. They’ll test seven local beaches for bacteria and harmful algae. The annual program helps Eau Claire health officials decide whether to close a beach or if they need to post a water quality advisory sign.
