There are rumblings that Trump called Milwaukee a ‘horrible city’ and now politicians react. WI Split on Abortion Pill Ruling

The reaction in Wisconsin to the latest ruling on the abortion pill is predictably split. Pro-Life groups in the state say they intend to keep fighting the Biden Administration over its plans to make the pill more available, while Democratic lawmakers say the ruling is a win for women. City of Altoona Seeks Applicants for City Council Position

The City of Altoona is seeking applicants to fill a City Council position which was vacated  by Jon Olson effective April 30, 2024. The new council member, who will be appointed by the City Council, will serve until April, 2025. Applicants must reside in Aldermanic District 3, Wards 4 & 5. Transportation Grants Focus on Jobs for WI City

A Southeast Wisconsin city is getting 885-thousand dollars in transportation grants to bring in more than 170 new jobs. The Transportation Economic Assistance grants will go to Pleasant Prairie to support a rail project. The project will support the expansion of WestRock, a corrugated packaging company. The rail connection will allow the company to transport materials and be environmentally responsible.
