The annual contest from the state’s largest business group, Wisconsin Manufacturers & Commerce, looks to find the coolest thing built or created in the state. There are over 130 different things to vote on this year, including string cheese, a lithium power pack, and an autonomous forklift. Read MoreCatastrophe strikes the dive team that worked for two days to recover a missing diver from Lake Michigan. Apparently, a boat operated by the Kenosha County team sank during their recovery effort near Pleasant Prairie. It took on water on Tuesday, but no injuries were reported. The sheriff’s office announced on Wednesday the body of 72-year-old diver Patrick Kelly had been recovered. There’s no word on what caused the boat to sink.

The poll says less than half of Wisconsin voters have a favorable opinion of Baldwin, but barely a third of voters have a favorable opinion of Hovde.
