Color Of the Year Unveiled

“Mocha Mousse” is being named the 2025’s color of the year. That’s according to the Pantone Color Institute. It describes the color as a warming, brown hue imbued with richness. Jupiter Will Be Shining Bright

Here on our home planet, Earth, we can see another planet shine bright. Saturday is a great night to check out Jupiter. The planet will be at its brightest as it orbits close to Earth and lies directly opposite of the sun. The phenomenon is called Jupiter at opposition and happens every 13 months. An Ounce a Day Could Keep the Doctor Away?

If you are looking for a way to slip some dessert into your life-especially this time of year, a new study says that eating an ounce of dark chocolate a day could lower the risk of Type Two diabetes. A new study out of the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health finds that people who ate dark chocolate compared to other types or none at all had up to a 21 percent lower chance of developing the disease. There

WI Couple Facing Multiple Charges

 A man and woman in Adams County are facing multiple charges after resisting arrest and injuring two law enforcement officers.  The Adams County Sheriff’s Office says a deputy tried to serve a warrant on a previous charge to a man who stopped at a residence in the town of Big Flats.  The man allegedly resisted arrest and a woman in the vehicle with the man reportedly started attacking the deputy.  The deputy allegedly tased the man, but the woman grabbed

WI Volleyball Serves Up Wins

Bucks Fall to Boston

Out-rebounding the Celtics doesn’t result in out-scoring the Celtics as the Bucks drop a close one.  Milwaukee fell to Boston 111-105 in a game that neither team led by more than eight points.  Damian Lillard scored 31 points, while Giannis Antetokounmpo added 30 points and eleven rebounds.  Bobby Portis came off the bench to match a season high with 18 rebounds, as the Bucks out-rebounded the Celtics 51-to-41.  The loss was Milwaukee’s second in a row and dropped the Bucks

Grant Money Set to Expand Treatment Options in WI

Wisconsin is getting seven-million-dollars to expand access to substance use treatment. The Department of Justice says the federal grant money will go toward the Wisconsin Deflection Initiative. The program helps people struggling with addiction connect with support services before they overdose or get in trouble with the law. The DOJ says the initiative is possible through partnerships between health care providers, law enforcement, and emergency services.

New Sheriff Appointed in Clark Co .

There’s a new Clark County Sheriff. Governor Tony Evers is appointing Kerry Kirn as sheriff following Scott Haines’ resignation. He’s worked with the Sheriff’s Office for 33 years and is the current detective captain. Kirn will serve the rest of the current term, which ends in 2027.
