A community continues to come together in the aftermath of a destructive fire. In the overnight hours, a fire destroyed the laundromat, fitness center and food pantry in Loyal. Responders and firefighters from Loyal, Spencer, Greenwood, Granton, Colby/Abbotsford, Owen-Withee and various EMS Services were on scene for hours. The Root Beer Stand delivered hamburgers to the firefighters at 1:40 in the morning, proving that even in the face of destruction, folks in our area step up to help one another.
