Local health departments around Milwaukee fear it’s just a matter of time before someone in Wisconsin gets sick with the measles. As of right now, there are no confirmed cases of the measles in Wisconsin. But Kathleen Platt with the North Shore Health Department told Fox 6 that with so many people traveling for the holidays or for spring break that may change. Illinois, Iowa, and Michigan all have reported measles cases.

The initial information was a teenage male was swimming in the river and struggling. Officers and personnel from the Eau Claire Fire Department (ECFD) responded to the area and learned the teen and three acquaintances were jumping off the cliffs at Mount Simon Park into the Chippewa River.
