Governor Tony Evers doesn’t appear to be a fan of the Republican road plan in the state. The governor yesterday said the proposal from lawmakers to increase fees on drivers in Wisconsin lets out-of-state drivers use our roads for free. Evers wanted to raise the gas tax by eight-cents-per-gallon to pay for new road construction. Todd Mahoney’s funeral was yesterday where about 20 different fire departments were on hand. Mahoney was found unresponsive in the water during the race last Sunday morning.
