The sheriff’s office says it was called to the shooting in Reeseville, northeast of Madison, last night and found a 26-year-old man with a gunshot wound. The victim is in the hospital in stable condition and deputies are looking for two men in dark-colored clothes who are believed to have pulled the trigger.

Kaul, along with attorneys general in four other states are suing, as they blame the company for pushing opioid pains pills despite serious worries about addiction. Those pills, the lawsuit states, went on to fuel the opioid crisis in Wisconsin and across the country.
