There’s some fear that Wisconsin’s worker shortage will only get worse over the next 15 years. The group, Forward Analytics, is out with a new report that suggests the state is not doing enough to keep or attract young workers to the state. The group says without more young workers, there won’t be enough people to fill the jobs that will be left empty by retiring baby boomers.

The Eau Claire County Sheriff’s Department says the man veered off the road near Highway 37 and HH Saturday morning and hit some trees. Rescue crews had to pry the man from his car but he was conscious and taken to a local hospital. The sheriff’s department says a medical episode caused by diabetes is what led to the crash.
