MUSTANGS LOOK TO CLEAN ENERGY PLAN

Clean, long-term energy use is an important issue for the Menomonie School Board.

Board members discussed policies for clean energy use over the next 30-years at Monday night’s meeting.  Last month, Western Organizer for Wisconsin Conservation Voters Kate Beaton presented a goal for local governments to commit to 100-percent clean energy use by 2050.  Board member Jim Swanson is drafting a policy to properly plan for the goal and board members will review it at the next meeting on March 23.
