Eau Claire is now enforcing its alternate side parking rules. The rules went into effect on November 1st, but starting today violating the rules could result in a 30 dollar fine. Alternate side parking is enforced between midnight and seven o’clock in the morning until May 1st.

Read MoreThe drinking water in Ridgeland is safe. But Dunn County health managers are suggesting that people test their water anyway. The move comes after tests showed higher than allowed levels of uranium at a public well last month. Uranium is naturally occurring, and Dunn County Health Department Director KT Gallagher says there’s nothing to suggest that there is anything unsafe about the water in the county. Still, she said last night, it’s better to be safe than sorry.
Read MoreThere are a lot of farmers in Wisconsin who still have corn and beans in the field. The latest crop report for the state shows that just 57 percent of corn has been harvested this year. That compares to 94 percent by this time last year. It’s a similar story for soybeans. The report says 86 percent of beans are harvested, compared to 99 percent at this point in 2018. Early snow and a wet fall are being blamed.
