The Eau Claire County Parks & Forest Department announces that water testing results by the City County Health Department indicate that Coon Fork Lake Dayside Beach water is now within acceptable health standards and is therefore now open for swimming. All public beaches on Eau Claire County land are within acceptable standards and are therefore open.

He served 24 years of a life sentence for the killing of Tom Monfils at the James River paper mill in Green Bay in 1992. Five others were charged with murder. Prosecutors say the men conspired to kill Monfils after Monfils heard one of them talk about stealing from the mill.

The exact cost of the damage is not yet known. The incident happened around 9:00 Saturday along Highway J, west of 790th Street, in Trimbelle. They arrested 18-year-old Gabriel Kurschner over the weekend. Police say the two were driving around Saturday night and pointing what turned out to be an airsoft gun out the window of their car. Eau Claire police arrested Kurschner on drugs charges, both teens are also facing disorderly conduct charges.

Police say Davis was drunk when he took off in a car, hit several other cars in New Richmond, and eventually was arrested.
