Governor Tony Evers is urging President Donald Trump to reconsider his visit to Kenosha on Tuesday. The President plans to meet with law enforcement and survey the damage from the recent civil unrest following the police shooting of Jacob Blake. Evers sent a letter to Trump that reads in part, ” I am concerned your presence will only hinder our healing. I am concerned your presence will only delay our work to overcome division and move forward together.” Police say

Attorney John Pierce says Rittenhouse was threatened by an angry mob the night of August 25th. He says his client did nothing wrong and acted in self defense when he fired his weapon. Two died and a third was injured in the shooting.
