Showers and thunderstorms that moved through Wisconsin early this morning and additional forecasted heavy rain will result in increased levels on the Chippewa River in Eau Claire. At 8 a.m. the Chippewa River gauge at Grand Avenue read just over 761 feet, which is 12 feet below the flood stage reading of 773 feet. Read MoreThe search for a missing boater on Lake Kegonsa continues. Crews in Dane County are looking for the man who was last seen Saturday night jumping off a boat. The dive team scoured the area at Fish Camp County Park in McFarland yesterday and closed the area where the search was underway. A dive team is not being used in the search today but a drone is.

Read MoreWisconsin saw the number of people testing positive for the coronavirus go-up over the weekend, but hospitalizations seem to be lower. The state’s Department of Health Services yesterday reported 457 positive tests. DHS also reported over six thousand negative tests. That pushes the daily-positive-test-rate to just over seven percent. DHS is also reporting 239 people in the hospital, that’s down ten from last week.
