Investigators are still working to discover the cause and circumstances surrounding an explosion near Jeffers Road earlier this morning. We know that one person has died, another taken to the hospital after that explosion. The home was destroyed, and early indication is that it was a gas explosion. The case remains under investigation.

The Better Business Bureau says an employment scam is when someone is led to believe they are getting a job that isn’t real. The report shows more than ten-thousand people have been victims of employment scams since 2017. According to a 2019 Military Consumers and Marketplace Trust report, almost 20-percent of military spouses lost money in an employment scam compared to fifteen-and-a-half-percent of non-military spouses.
